Oy, where do I begin? I'll give the short version. Mo and I met 6 years ago, almost exactly. It was a crazy summer of debauchery capped with a healthy dose of growing the feck up. I love him like a brother. He loves Lisa like a wife. Now, I love Lisa like a sister. Richard is all over this little love knot, too, and there you have it. The reaaallly short version. Never say I don't keep my word!
Mo and Lisa were just married in July, and followed the ceremony with a long holiday in Vancouver. As a holiday from their holiday, they hopped in a van and drove the coast to LA for a quick visit. Excuse me, while I reminisce a moment in my head. Think - lovely long mornings on the patio, sunny sweaty walks down Sunset, ducking into every knick-knacky shop, and engaging conversation with some of your favorite people. A blissful combination, amiright?
We took a moment to snap these at the Venice Canals. It was impromptu in every sense. (Well, at least on their end. I was planning a mini-session all day!) I had planned to share only one of the photos, but when I transferred them to the big screen I simply could not choose. To witness two people you love, loving eachother, is a beautiful thing. They truly enjoy eachother (see: many photos of silliness and laughter). I feel so lucky to have the ability to capture that emotion with my tool. Alright, people! Enough sappy talk! The images :)
Now, this is a perfect segue to post some of my material from our March visit to London to stay with these fine people. I had every intention of culling, editing, and posting quite a bit from that trip, but packing, moving, unpacking, and all-in-all two cross country roadtrips had their way with me, and here we are, months later, with only a Cambridge post to show for it.
